One More From Southpoint

I was so amazed at the lack of fear of these folks standing on the edge of the cliff fishing. The wind was blowing so hard I thought it was going to pick me up and throw me in the drink. If they fall they will be injured and maybe drowned. That must be very good fish. I took these shots with my Pentax K-100 D with the kit lens. Landscape mode, not RAW, ASA set to 400 1/350 @ f11. This was at 55 mm about 82 mm on a 35 mm camera. In camera shake reduction works very well

Very nice pics - where is that?

Why do you pre-approve comments - did you have a problem? It kinda kills the blogging spirit.

Hi mutleythedog. Southpoint is on the big island of Hawaii. As to pre-approving comments, I have not had a problem, I just didn't know you could do it any other way. I will check that out

Ernie,

Preapproval can be turned off, but I think it's a good idea. I've yet to have a flame or other "behavior problem" post come in, but there are spam messages that get through now and then and it's good to keep them out. If you get a real load of spam, that's what the verification signature feature is there to weed out.---Carl

Thanks Carl. I turned it off for now and I will see how it goes. I do get spam and if any shows up I will turn it on again.
