Earnie, this subject is really ineresting. I'm wondering though about your comment about not being able to get square on the pictures and shooting them, well, a little bit crooked. What about just using the widest lens you have access to, and show views of the interior, pillars and all. The betwixt and between views are quite fascinating, but failing the option of doing a straight repro of the mural, I'd be much more interested to see how the whole church looks like with murals in place. In sectioned views I'd guess, for feasiblity. What a wonderful artifact!

I have an interior shot that I will post tomorrow. The problem I had was the place was full of people! Of all things. What I should have done was get my back to one wall and shoot the entire opposite wall. Take a peek tomorrow. Ernie
