Peacock

Accidents sometimes make for interesting results. Sunday my daughter Jennifer and I were driving through the little town of Pahala. We drove to a lovely Buddhist temple that Jennifer and Angelo like to visit. There was a service in progress so out of respect I resisted taking pictures of the temple. But there were several very tame peacocks hanging out. I can't resist photographing them when ever I come upon one. So, seven quick shots and we were on our way home. I didn't even pixel peep. When I got home and downloaded the shots all I got were black squares. Somehow the camera setting was on manual instead of automatic. I had very seriously underexposed all seven shots. Using Photoshop and Camera Raw I was able to get an image. It is very strange looking, lots of grain. I like it, reminds me of a tapestry. It is about 16 by 9 inches. Click on it and you can see it bigger.

Wow that is a beautiful picture!! Your right it does look like material. The grainyness somehow takes on the feel of woven threads. jen
