Anthuriums cont #3
The flower farm where these anthuriums are grown is Mountain View Anthuriums. It is about 2200 feet above sea level. Although anthuriums are grown all over this part of the big island the varieties are sensitive to temperature and amount of rainfall so the altitude of the farm determines what varieties do well. At 2200 feet they can grow the prized, Kozahara. It is a deep, deep red almost going to black.
