Mystic Fiords
The Seven Seas Navigator is a relatively small cruise ship, about 500 feet long 500 passengers. It can go places other big ones can’t.
One of areas accessible to smaller ships is the inside passage to Alaska and Mystic Fiords. When we got there the water was dead calm. After a bit the Captain stopped the ship and and it became dead quiet.
People walking about the deck were whispering. About this time I took this shot with my Pentax 645. The sound of the shutter and mirror clacking was like a shotgun blast. See this guy looking at me. A second later they were all looking at me.
I went back to my room and grabbed my 35 mm point and shoot. The rest of the shots of Mystic Fiords were done in smaller format.
The cliff walls were so close you could almost reach out and touch them
