This is a panorama image looking across the caldera to the sulfur banks. I made this picture using my 1950s vintage Zeiss Super Ikonta 532/16. It uses 120 film and you get 11 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inch images on a roll. I stitched two shots together to make this panorama using Photoshop

My new bumper sticker

So after the 4th of July parade here in very liberal Volcano Hawaii, I saw lots of bumper stickers that of course bugged me. This one guy had this sign on the back of his pickup "Make Love, Not War". So I said to him "why does it have to be either or, we can do both, it is good for the economy and it keeps you and me and our family safe" He just kinda looked away. So here is my new bumper sticker. I am taking orders, very cheap.

New Panorama

This is my first attempt at making panoramas with Adobe Elements 6. I shot this with my Pentax K100D with the camera held on a tripod in the vertical position. Manual exposure and manual focus with a polarizer filter. The image size is about 9x14 inches. I need a lot more practice with this but Elements 6 really stitches them together well.
